Switch off the dashcam
- Enter the default administrator PIN 3333 or the PIN you have set yourself.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down the list and select Switch off.
Follow the steps in order
It is important that you follow the instructions on the dashcam and first disconnect the power cable.
Otherwise, the dashcam will restart.
- Disconnect the power cable from the dashcam.
- Select OK.
Turning the dashcam back on
To turn a switched-off dashcam back on, connect it to the power cable. The dashcam will switch on automatically when power is supplied.
The dashcam doesn't switch on when powered up?
The dashcam's battery may be completely flat.
Solution:
Charge the battery for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
When the dashcam is connected to a power source and the battery is at least 30% charged, the camera will switch on automatically.
Manually restarting the dashcam
When you perform a manual restart, all user settings, PINs and data on the SD card are retained.
- Open the SD and SIM card slot using the screwdriver provided.
- Press the reset button with a pointed object.
- Follow the instructions on the dashcam.
