Beta version

1. Removal of the ‘Save password’ function

For security reasons, the Save password function will be removed from the SPEDIONline login area on 30 November 2025. We recommend saving your password in a password manager.

If you no longer know your password, there are several options:

  1. You are still logged in to SPEDIONline:  Go to  Settings→User data and change your password. Save the new password in a password manager.

  2. You are NO longer logged in to SPEDIONline: Use the Reset password function. You can find more information here: Reset password

2. Display of the next possible shift start

Note

The next possible shift start for a driver may be moved back ‘invisibly’ if times are still being recorded after arrival, e.g. working time with the ignition switched off. Please take this into account when planning.

A new column, Next possible shift start, is available in the fleet overview. The column is deactivated by default and can be displayed if required.

If you move the mouse over the content, further information is displayed:

The shift times can also be displayed in the Cockpit (tab: Dashboard + Driver tab). This display must be activated:

The function can be activated under Settings→User interface:

  1. Click on the Dashboard tab.

  2. Tick the box next to Show shift times.

  1. Ensure that you are in the General tab.

  2. Tick the box next to Show shift times for drivers in cockpit.

3. Display weekly rest period as a date

Previously, the next weekly rest period was displayed exclusively in hours (e.g. 132 hours). A new feature is the option to display the exact date (e.g. Sat. 2:00 p.m.).

Activate function

The function can be activated under Settings→User interface:

  1. Ensure that you are in the General tab..

  2. Tick the box next to Calculated Time.

  3. Click Save Changes.

4. Calculate and display fuel level in liters

If the fuel tank size of the vehicle is stored in SPEDIONline Administration, SPEDION automatically calculates and displays the fuel level in liters.

5. Configurable tour sorting

The order in which tours are displayed in SPEDIONline can now be customised.

You can find the setting under Settings→User interface→Tours:

6. Formatted Excel export

Previously, existing Excel exports had to be manually formatted or adjusted in order to be reused in a clear manner.
Now there is a new formatted Excel export:

The function can be activated under Settings→User interface:

  1. Ensure that you are in the General tab.

  2. Uncheck the box next to Export Excel tables without formatting.

7. Chat window: New paragraph with [Shift]+[Enter]

In the chat window, the key combination Shift+Enter now inserts a new paragraph.
This behaviour corresponds to the Messages menu item.

8. Pop-up notifications for ticker messages

It is now possible to display ticker messages as pop-up notifications.

  1. Open Ticker→Administration.

  2. Tick the box next to Display new ticker messages in SPEDIONline as pop-up windows.

9. Geofences as markers

Small geofences were previously barely visible on the map. From now on, you can display the centre of a geofence with a marker.
This function can be activated using a slider.
