You can search for the following points of interest:

Tap the search bar.
Select Gas stations, Parking areas or Rest areas.
The corresponding destinations that are near you are displayed.
Select the desired destination.
Select Calculate route.
Select the desired route.
Select Start.

Adding a point of interest as a stop during the journey

You also have the option of adding a POI, which you can see on the route progress bar, as a stop during the journey.
