Create Geofence and POIs

Create POI

1. Click on Geofence/POI > Administration in the menu bar.
2. Navigate to the desired position by dragging the map (hold down the mouse button) and zooming in and out (using the mouse wheel).
3. Click on the Marker icon on the map.
4. Click on the desired location to place the marker there.
5. Optional: If you want to rename the POI, double-click on the POI in the list on the left and enter a new name.

Geofence - Define a circle

1. Click on Geofence/POI > Administration in the menu bar.
2. Navigate to the desired position by dragging the map (hold down the mouse button) and zooming in and out (using the mouse wheel).
3. Click on the Circle icon on the map.
4. Click on the desired location to place the centre of the circle and hold down the left mouse button.
5. Drag the mouse over the map to define the radius of the circle. Release the mouse button to place the circle.
6. Optional: If you want to rename the Geofence, double-click on the Geofence in the list on the left and enter a new name.

Geofence - Define exact area

Use the polygon Geofence to precisely define any area, e.g. towns, rest areas or plots of land.

1. Click on Geofence/POI > Administration in the menu bar.
2. Navigate to the desired position by dragging the map (hold down the mouse button) and zooming in and out (using the mouse wheel).
3. Click on the Polygon icon on the map.
4. Click on a desired location to start the polygon.
5. Now click on as many points as required to define the polygon.
6. Optional: If you want to delete the last point set, click on Delete last point.
7. To finalise the polygon, click on Done or click on the starting point of the polygon.
8. Optional: If you want to rename the Geofence, double-click on the Geofence in the list on the left and enter a new name.

Edit Geofence/POI

1. Click on Geofence/POI > Administration in the menu bar.
2. Click on the desired Geofence/POI in the list on the left.
3. Click on the Pencil icon on the map.
4. Make the desired changes.
5. Click on Save.
