Edit device

  1. Click on Devices (1) and click on the three dots (2) in the row of the device you wish to edit.
  2. Select the required function from the Edit Device menu.

Please note the following information regarding each function:

Settings

  1. Adjust any settings that differ from the Organisation Settings.
  2. Click Save.


USB power supply on

If this setting is enabled, peripheral devices can be charged via a USB connection.

  1. Click USB power supply on.
  2. Read the note and click Enable.

Save

  1. Make the desired changes under ‘Edit device’.
  2. Click Save.

Delete

Associated data will be deleted

If you delete a dashcam, all associated data (recordings, events, etc.) will also be deleted from SPEDIONline.

  1. Optional: Download any relevant dashcam recordings you wish to keep to your PC. (More information: Viewing and downloading recordings).
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm by clicking Delete.

Wi-Fi

You can connect the dashcam to a Wi-Fi network.

Generate QR code

  1. Click on Wi-Fi.
  2. SSID: Enter the name of the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect the dashcam to.
  3. Encryption: Select the encryption method relevant to your network.
  4. Key: Enter your network’s password.
  5. Click on Generate.

A QR code will be displayed.

Connect the dashcam to the Wi-Fi

The vehicle is safely parked and the ignition is switched on.

  1. Tap the dashcam screen.
  2. Enter the default PIN 3333 or the PIN you have set yourself.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Wi-Fi.
  5. Tap the toggle next to Wi-Fi to enable it.
  6. Select Connect to a different network.

The dashcam beeps several times.

7. Point the dashcam at the QR code on your computer screen to scan it. A screenshot or a printed version of the QR code will also work.

The dashcam connects to the Wi-Fi.


Data usage

Here you will find a breakdown of data usage. Data usage is affected by watching live videos, uploading recordings and sending events.

Click on Data usage (6).

A window displaying an overview of data usage will appear.
