Feedback

In SPEDION Navigation, you can send feedback directly to SPEDION in the event of problems, suggestions for improvement, etc.
You can send a text or voice message. In addition, a screenshot of the current view is automatically taken.

Your current view in the app shows the error or the location for which you would like to provide feedback.

  1. Tap on Feedback (1).
  2. Select Start now (2). A screenshot is automatically taken.
  3. Option 1: You can write a text message:
    Tap Text message to SPEDION (3) and enter the desired message.
  4. Option 2: You can record a voice message:
    1. Tap the microphone icon (4) to start recording.
    2. Select Allow.
    3. Speak your message.
    4. Tap the blue microphone icon to end the recording.
    5. Optional: Tap the play icon to listen to the recorded message.
  5. Select Send.
Move feedback button

Tap and hold the Feedback button to move it up or down.
You can set the position for the landscape and portrait format of the Android device.



GPS issues

How can I tell in SPEDION Navigation that the GPS connection is disrupted?

  • The red message Searching GPS... is displayed at the top of the screen.
  • The route is recalculated or changed very frequently.
  • The current position differs from the one on the map by a few metres.

Solution for DAF trucks

Problem with DAF trucks (affects NGD models: XF, XG and XG+):
GPS problems occur when the Android device is placed directly above the radio. The radio interferes with the GPS signal.

Solution: Place the Android device in a different location.
Make sure that the Android device is not above the radio.

For example, place the Android device directly to the right of the radio:

Recommended mount

We recommend using a new KUDA mount to position the Android device in the correct place.

Licence check required

What should I do if a licence check notice is displayed?

  1. Select Open SPEDION App.
  2. Log in to the SPEDION App.
  3. Select the navigation icon at the top of the menu bar.


Customise the number of route options

I need additional or fewer route options or route suggestions

You can specify whether the driver is shown one or up to two additional (three in total) route options or route suggestions.
