Range of functions
You can use SPEDIONline to temporarily disable some restrictions controlled by SMC for individual end devices. To do this, you must execute the desired command on SPEDIONline.
Mobile Control commands can only be received and processed by an Android device if it is switched on and connected to the Internet. If this is not the case, the command will be transmitted the next time the device connects to the Internet.
The commands you can send to a Samsung device depend on its Knox version. Not every device can therefore receive all commands. The command "Shut down device" can be received by devices with Knox API Level 20 or higher.
The following commands are available:
- Restart device
- Allow firmware update
- Allow USB connections
- Allow setting changes
- Secure device again
- Log out driver
- Shut down device
This is the current range of functions. Additional functions may be added or existing functions may be discontinued.
