First-time customer setup of SPEDION Mobile Control

If you would like to use SPEDION Mobile Control for your company, please contact SPEDION Support.

SPEDION Mobile Control is set up in two steps. First, SPEDION Support records the restrictions you want to apply to the mobile devices. Then, a vehicle configuration group is created that contains the restrictions you want.
Once the vehicle configuration group has been successfully created, you can assign vehicles to this group via SPEDIONline.

Assign vehicles to the "SPEDION Mobile Control" group

SPEDION has already created a Mobile Control vehicle configuration group for your company.

You have permissions to access administration in SPEDIONline.

You have made all the necessary system settings on the affected devices.

1. Open SPEDIONline.
2. Select Administration.

A menu bar with icons opens.

3. Select the gear icon (vehicle configuration).

The vehicle configurations opens.

4. Check whether a vehicle configuration group named "Company name" – (SPEDION) Mobile Control active(aktiv)" is listed in the vehicle configurations.
5. Select Edit in the SPEDION Mobile Control vehicle configuration group.

The selected vehicle configuration group opens.

6. Click on the vehicles you want to assign.
7. Click on the > arrow.

8. Confirm your selection by clicking Save.

SPEDION Mobile Control auf Endgerät aktivieren

The vehicle used for registration has been assigned to the vehicle configuration group for SPEDION Mobile Control.

1. Log out of the SPEDION app and log back in.

2. Wait until the Enable Device Administrator App window opens. (Waiting time: approximately one minute)

3. Click Activate.

The Samsung Knox privacy policy opens.

4. Optional: If the Samsung Knox privacy policy does not appear immediately, wait a minute for it to appear.
5. Optional: If consent is required: Agree to the Samsung Knox privacy policy.
6. Click Next.
