Confusing logout with restart

Sometimes the driver is asked to log out of the SPEDION App and log in again, e.g. if settings have been changed.
In this case, please note that you log out from the SPEDION App and DO NOT restart the Android device. You will NOT be logged out automatically when the Android device is restarted.

  2. Confirm with Yes.

When do you need to log out and log in?

If changes have been made to the configuration (via SPEDIONline or directly by SPEDION), such as:

  • New device has been assigned, e.g. the TruckBox has been replaced
  • Group assignments or configuration settings have been changed, e.g. new phone book entries added
  • New message recipients, e.g. a new employee, added
  • When introducing new software, e.g. "SPEDION Navigation will be used from today onwards"

Restart

When do you need to restart your Android device??

In the event of technical issues with the Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, or internet connection, such as

  • There is no Bluetooth connection to the TruckBox or the Bluetooth adapter.
  • There is no longer an internet connection, e.g. after crossing a border.
Regular logging out and logging in recommended

To make changes to the SPEDION App effective, you must log out once and log in again. Regular logging in and out is recommended by SPEDION.
