Install SPEDION App Update

Different update options

Due to the further development of the SPEDION App, there are regular updates with new features and bug fixes. These updates make it necessary to keep the SPEDION App up to date at all times.
There are various ways to install updates for the SPEDION App:

Automatic update search

Each time you start the SPEDION App, it automatically checks for updates.
If pending updates are found, you will see the following screen:

Select Install update.

The installation is blocked?
If the installation is blocked, the installation of Apps from unknown sources is deactivated.
Proceed as recommended by the Android end device and enable the installation.

With a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2:
Select Settings → Biometric data and security → Install unknown apps select the Chrome application and activate Allow from this source.
You will find the SpedionApp.apk file in your Downloads folder after successful download.

Select All until it says Install.
Select Install.
After installation, select Open.

The SPEDION App has been successfully updated. You can log in as usual.

Manual update search

In addition to the automatic updates, you can also start the search for updates manually.

Open the home screen of the SPEDION App.
Select More features.
Swipe your finger twice from right to left.
Select Tools.
Select Update.
The system checks for updates. If pending updates are found, you will see the following screen:

Select Install update.

Select All until it says Install.
Select Install.
After installation, select Open.

The SPEDION App has been successfully updated. You can log in as usual.
