Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
The dashcam uses the functions of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to gather information about the road ahead.
- Lane departure – Your vehicle crosses a certain number of road markings within a specific time period
- Tailgating – Your vehicle is driving too close to the vehicle in front of you. The dashcam takes into account the set parameters for tailgating and can estimate the time to collision (TTC).
- If the driver exceeds the TTC limit for the configured duration (or longer), they receive visual and audible warnings.
Users can configure the permitted TTC and duration parameters as shown in the table below:
Important: The default values are not recommendations!

Calibration of the driver assistance system (ADAS)
To activate the roadside ADAS, you will need to take some measurements.
Check that the dashcam is mounted at least 1 metre above the ground before starting the calibration
- Please note down these measurements in either centimetres or inches:

The height of the dashcam’s front-facing lens above the ground

The width of the front axle, measured from the outer edges of the respective tyres.

The distance between the dashcam and the centre of the windscreen, measured from the inside of the vehicle to the lens facing the road.
Measure from the centre of the windscreen to the centre of the lens facing the road.- If the dashcam is to the right of the centre of the windscreen – enter a negative value
- If the dashcam is to the left of the centre of the windscreen – enter a positive value
- On the dashcam: Enter the PIN to unlock the dashcam. The default PIN is 3333.
- Select Settings from the main menu.
- Scroll through the settings to ensure that the speed units are set to your preference (km/h or mph) and that the driver’s position is correct (left or right).
- Scroll to ‘ADAS – Not calibrated’ and select the units of measurement from the drop-down menu: inches or centimetres.
- Select Start configuration.
- Select Next.
- Tap the measurement bar, enter the height and select Next.
- Tap the measurement bar, enter the track width and select Next.
- Use the arrows to adjust the camera’s offset from the centre of the windscreen. Use the left arrow to decrease the value (up to -200 cm) and the right arrow to increase it (up to +200 cm). Select Next.
- On the final screen, check all the measurements you have entered.
- Select Save to complete the measurements. The camera will then begin automatic calibration.
- Select Done.
