LUCY App Quick Start Guide

LUCY App - Intended use

Use the LUCY App to receive information for the next working day. You get an overview of the driving and rest times transmitted by SPEDION, tours planned for you and can view documents that have been shared with you. You can also exchange messages with your company in advance.

Requirements

✓ Your company is a SPEDION customer.
✓ You have received access data for your initial registration by e-mail or directly from your company.
✓ Your mobile device has a permanent internet connection.

First steps

Open LUCY App

The LUCY App has been developed to be platform-independent.
You can open it as follows:

First login

Before you can log in, you need the initial registration data from your company. Your company has chosen one of the following ways:

Option 1 - Invitation via e-mail
You will be invited via your own e-mail address. Follow the steps described in the e-mail to use the LUCY App.

Option 2 - Your company only entered your driver PIN when creating your LUCY App account
You will receive the initial registration data by post or other means from your company.
Follow the steps you received with your login details to use the LUCY App.

Create document key

When you log in to the LUCY App for the first time, a popup appears:

In this popup, you are asked to create a document key.

Tap Proceed.

1-2. Read the information about the encrypted documents, then tap Proceed.

3. Assign a document key.

4. Enter the document key again.

5. Check the box to confirm that you have read and understood the following:
   "If I forget this document key, I can no longer view encrypted documents and these documents become unusable."

6. Tap Create document key.

You have created your document key.

Forgot password

Option 1 - You have been registered with your e-mail address
You can tap Recover here in the login screen.

Enter your company code and e-mail address (alternatively your driver PIN) and you will receive an e-mail to change your password.

Option 2 - No e-mail address is registered for your LUCY App account.
Please contact a SPEDIONline administrator of your company to get a new password.

Logout

Where can I log out?

Small screens - Tap More → Log out

Large screens - Tap Log out at the bottom left.

When do I have to log out?
If you have installed the LUCY App on your terminal device, it is not necessary to log out if no other person has access to your terminal device. If you access the LUCY App via a device that is used by other people besides yourself, log out after using the app. This ensures that no other persons can access the data.

Menu bar

The menu bar is located at the bottom of the screen on smartphones. On larger screens you will find the menu bar on the left-hand side. You can navigate to the various menu items via the menu bar.

Home

Get an overview of your ECO grade, kilometres driven and initial information on other menu items.

2. Show tours
3. Show documents
4. Show driving and rest times
5. Show ECO grade

Messages

Exchange information with your company. You can receive and write messages. You can also send photos and documents as attachments.

Write messages

1. Tap the pencil icon at the bottom right to write a new message.
2. Write your text.
3. Optional: Add an attachment.
4. Send your message via the send icon.

Read messages

1. You can see messages received under Inbox.
2. Unread messages are highlighted in colour.
3. Tap on a message to read it.

Translate messages

1. Tap Translate under the message.
2. The translated message and the original text are displayed.

Tours

Get more detailed information about tours planned for you. View the tour on the map and get an initial overview of the stop and freight details.

1. Tap Tours
   → Here you can see an overview of the tours assigned to you.
   To find out more about a tour, tap SHOW DETAILS.
   (This button is not available on larger screens. Just click on the tour).
   → Now the tour details are displayed.
   
2. You want to show a stop on the map? Tap the map icon (3) in front of the stop.
3. You want to switch between the standard view and the satellite view of the map? Tap the map icon (4) at the top of the map and then tap the desired icon (5).

Tour read

You can mark a selected tour as read. This is then displayed to the dispatcher.
Before that, the dispatcher does not get any information about whether you have seen the tour.

1. Under Actions, tap Mark tour as read.
2. I have read the tour is displayed.
3. Now the dispatcher can see that you have read the tour.

Driving and rest times

Get an overview of the status of your driving and rest times.

If you want to get more detailed information about a value, tap on the corresponding field (2).

ECO grade

Get an overview of your ECO grade.

Show details

1. Tap on the ECO grade about which you want to get more detailed information.
2. You will see the trend for the selected time period as well as other values and tips.

Set time period

1. Tap on the calendar icon in the upper right corner or on the selected time period.
2. An edit mask will open where you can select the desired time period.

Dokumente

You can view documents released for you online.
Do you need the documents offline? Then download them manually.

Read confirmation

You can fill in a read confirmation just like in the SPEDION App.

1. Tap Pending read confirmations.
2. Tap the document for which you want to fill in a read confirmation.
3. If you have not yet read the document, tap Open.
4. Tap Fill read confirmation.

5. Confirm reading and understanding with the checkboxes.
6. Tap Confirm.
7. If required: Sign in the input field.
8. Tap Done.
9. It is displayed that the read confirmation was sent successfully.

Encrypted documents

You created a document key when you first logged in to the LUCY App (see: First steps).
You can recognize encrypted documents by the lock symbol behind the document name:

To open the document, enter the document key.

Once you've opened a document, save it for your own documentation. As soon as you save the document locally, it is unencrypted there.

Choose between a light and dark design.
System – The design is automatically selected depending on your browser or device settings.

Change password

Change your existing password.

Change document key

Change your existing document key. The condition is that you know your old document key.
