File types

We generally recommend using PDF files only.
You can also upload MP3 files.
Please note the maximum file size of 5MB per file.

No moving possible

Files cannot be moved afterwards. Therefore, make sure that you always upload files directly to the desired location.

Upload file

In the Administration, click on Document Management in the menu bar.
In the file tree, navigate to the location where you want to save the file.
Click on + New at the top right.
Click on Upload file.
If required, select the group, vehicle or driver (1) to which you want to assign the file.
Optional - Assign expiry date: Enter the desired number of days OR click on the calendar icon to select an expiry date. (2)
At the end of the expiry date, the files are automatically deleted.
Click on Next (3).
Select the file you want to upload in the new window.
Click Open to upload the selected file.

Encrypted files

You have the option of uploading encrypted files. This allows you to pass on personal documents with sensitive data to the drivers.

Only the driver in question can open the documents assigned to them with their document key in the LUCY app.

Requirements

Driver requirements:
Make sure that

the driver has access to the LUCY App.
the driver has defined a document key in the LUCY App.

User requirements:
SPEDIONline users need the right Manage encrypted files to be able to upload encrypted files in Document Management.

Only available in the LUCY App

Currently, encrypted files are only displayed in the LUCY App, but not in the SPEDION App.

Upload encrypted file

In the Administration, click on Document Management in the menu bar.
In the file tree, navigate to the location where you want to save the file.
Click on + New at the top right.
Click on Upload encrypted file.
Select the driver to whom you want to assign the file.

Selection of drivers

You will only see drivers here who have already created a document key in the LUCY App. Further information on the document key can be found in the LUCY App Quick Start Guide.
