About the SD card

The dashcam records all journeys made by the vehicle, including up to 10 minutes after the journey ends. All dashcam recordings are stored on the SD card.

When the free storage space on the SD card is full, older recordings are overwritten. If the SD card has not been backed up manually, the older recordings will be lost.

The SD and SIM card slots are located on the side of the dashcam under a protective cover.

Insert or replace the SD card

  1. Switch off the dashcam.
IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions on the dashcam and the order of the steps!
  2. Use the special screwdriver supplied with the dashcam to remove the security screw securing the protective cover over the SIM and SD card slots.

    This triggers a tampering event.

  3. If an SD card is already inserted: Press the SD card gently and release it to remove it.
  4. Insert a new SD card.
  5. Connect the dashcam to the power cable.

A new window appears on the screen.

  6. Select Yes.

The new SD card is formatted, and a message appears confirming that the formatting was successful.

  7. Tap the dashcam screen.
  8. Enter the default administrator PIN 3333 or the PIN you have set yourself.
  9. Select Settings.
  10. Scroll down the list and select Turn off.
Leave the power cable connected

To restart the dashcam, it must remain connected to the power supply.

  2. Once the dashcam has restarted, check that the red recording light at the bottom of the screen is lit to ensure that the SD card is working.
  3. Screw the protective cover back into place over the SIM and SD card slots.
  4. Optional: Back up the data from the old SD card by connecting the SD card to your PC and copying the files to the PC.
