TIMOCOM

General information

The interface allows the current position of vehicles to be displayed in the TIMOCOM portal. This enables customers to view the current status of their transport orders independently.
In order to display the vehicles in the TIMOCOM portal, TIMOCOM requires access to the SPEDIONline web portal.
In SPEDIONline, you can use the vehicle groups to control which vehicles TIMOCOM can access.

Create vehicle group

1. In Administration, move the mouse over the vehicle icon in the menu bar and click on Vehicle Groups.
2. Enter a desired name for the group in the Group Name field.

3. Click on Create New Group.
4. Add the desired vehicles to the group.
5. Add the desired users to the group who should be able to see this group in SPEDIONline.
6. Click Save.

Edit vehicle group

Add vehicle

1. Click Edit in the row of the desired group.

2. Click on the desired vehicle under Vehicles (2) on the left.
   Alternatively: Search for the desired vehicle (1).
3. Click on the right arrow (3).
4. Once you have added all the desired vehicles, click on Save.

Remove vehicle

1. Click Edit in the row of the desired group.
2. Click on the desired vehicle under Selected vehicles (4) on the right.
   Alternatively: Search for the desired vehicle.
3. Click on the left arrow (5).
4. Once you have removed all the desired vehicles, click Save.

Add user

While editing the group, you can add users who should be able to see the group in SPEDIONline.

1. Click on the desired user under Users on the left.
   Alternatively: Search for the desired user.
2. Click on the right arrow.
3. Once you have added all the desired users, click on Save.

Remove user

1. Click on the desired user under Selected Users on the right.
   Alternatively: Search for the desired user.
2. Click on the left arrow.
3. Once you have removed all the desired users, click Save.

Create user

To grant TIMOCOM access to SPEDIONline, you must create a new user and then provide TIMOCOM with the user data:

1. In the user overview, click on Create user in the orange bar.
   Alternatively: Move the mouse over the user icon and click on Create user.

2. Define the user's username.
3. Enter the user's name.
4. Enter the user's email address.
5. Note the information displayed.
6. Click Invite and Continue.

An invitation email is sent to the created user, who can then set their own password.

A new input mask opens. Make further settings for the user here.

7. Under Vehicle groups, select one or more vehicle groups that the user is allowed to see in SPEDIONline.
   The selected vehicle groups are highlighted in color.
8. Click on the right arrow.
   The selected vehicle groups are now displayed under Selected vehicle groups.
9. Click on Save.

Set rights

1. Click on the Rights tab at the top.

2. Click the check mark or cross in the corresponding row to override the company standard rights for this user.

Assign password

1. Open the invitation email that was sent to the newly created user.
2. Click on the link in the email to assign a password for this user.

Transmit user data to TIMOCOM

1. Provide your TIMOCOM contact person with the username and password assigned to the user you have created.

TIMOCOM can access the vehicles that are in the vehicle group assigned to the user.
