Set up
You can connect your TruckBox E to your Android device via Bluetooth or WiFi.
- If your Android device does not have a built-in SIM card for internet connection, you must use the WiFi connection.
- If your Android device has a SIM card, use the Bluetooth connection.
Via WiFi connection
Please note that the TruckBox E opens a WiFi network to which your Android end device connects. This means that the Android end device can start software updates unhindered and exhaust the data volume of the SIM card in the TruckBox E.
We recommend deactivating system updates and only carrying them out in the control centre's WiFi.
The following description applies to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 (Android version 9). Navigation in the device settings may vary depending on the Android version and end device.
