1. Insert the SIM card
- Switch off the dashcam.
IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions on the dashcam and the order of the steps! - Use the special screwdriver supplied with the dashcam to remove the security screw securing the protective cover over the SIM and SD card slots.
This triggers a tampering event. - If necessary: Remove the new SIM card from the shipping card to obtain a micro-SIM.
- Insert the SIM card by pressing it down. It should not protrude.
2. Test the SIM card
- Connect the dashcam to the power cable.
- Tap the dashcam screen.
- Enter the default PIN 3333 or the PIN you have set yourself.
- Check the network connection icon displayed at the bottom of the home screen. The connection is active if you can see the bars and there is no red X over them.

X over the bar?
If you see an X above the signal bars, the SIM card may be working properly, but you are in an area with poor network coverage.
Move to a different location to check if you have a network connection there.
- Once the network connection is active, reattach the protective cover using the special screwdriver.
