Mode
Active
The dashcam is active when you see a vehicle icon (or, if an event has occurred, a different icon) in the centre of the screen and a red dot at the bottom of the screen.

- The dashcam records and saves the footage to the SD card.
- All events can be detected and triggered.
- A network connection is available:
- Live videos can be viewed via SPEDIONline.
- Recordings on the SD card can be accessed via SPEDIONline.
- Settings can be adjusted on the camera via SPEDIONline.
Standby
The dashcam enters standby mode when the vehicle is no longer moving (default setting: 10 minutes after the vehicle has come to a standstill).
To use standby mode, the dashcam must be connected to a constant power source.
The dashcam also switches to standby mode if the power supply is interrupted. In this case, the dashcam continues to be powered by the built-in battery.
- The dashcam is not currently recording.
- Only vibration and tampering events can be detected and triggered.
- There is a network connection:
- Recordings on the SD card can be accessed via SPEDIONline.
- Camera settings can be adjusted via SPEDIONline.
- Live video cannot be displayed in SPEDIONline.
The dashcam exits standby mode and becomes active again when
- the motion sensor detects changes in the GPS signal and the vehicle starts moving.
- the event button is pressed.
Switched off
The dashcam has been switched off and has not been connected to a power source since then.
Please follow the procedure for switching off the dashcam correctly.
- The dashcam is not currently recording.
- The lenses are not active.
- No events are being detected or triggered.
- There is no network connection.
Warnings for the driver
Visual warnings are displayed via icons on the dashcam screen.
If there is no warning, a white vehicle icon is displayed. Depending on the type of event, this icon turns red when a warning is triggered or changes shape; for example, a mobile phone icon is also displayed if a mobile phone is being used.

Audible warnings take the form of simple tones.
