SPEDIONline
I removed the dashcam and then added it back to the same organisation. Now I can’t find the data history. When a dashcam is removed from an organisation, its data is deleted from the cloud. Download the data, before removing the dashcam.
In SPEDIONline, there is no green dot visible next to the dashcam. Your SIM card is not inserted correctly or has not been activated. Please ensure that your SIM card is inserted correctly and has been activated.
Poor network reception. Run a speed test via your Wi-Fi hotspot. If the upload speed is 64 Kbps or less, there may be a problem with network reception – contact your SIM provider.
Your SIM card has run out of data allowance. Run a speed test via your Wi-Fi hotspot. If the upload speed is 64 Kbps or less, there may be a data issue – check whether your data allowance has been used up.
The IMEI number is incorrect. Check that the IMEI number of the dashcam configured in SPEDIONline matches the IMEI number of the dashcam. You can find the IMEI number on the sticker on the dashcam itself or on the back of the dashcam box.
I can't view live video from the dashcam, even though the dashcam is online. The user does not have the necessary permissions. Check the user's permissions.
There is a firewall blocking the WebRTC streaming interface. In SPEDIONline, click the cog icon in the live video window and select HLS streaming.
The network speed is too low. Run a speed test via your WiFi hotspot. If the upload speed is less than 250 Kbps, the live video will not work. Contact your mobile network provider.
I can't see any dashcam recordings listed. The SD card is out of date or has not been inserted correctly. Make sure your SD card is at least Class 10 and has been inserted correctly.
The SD card is not being recognised. 1. Format the SD card.
2. Replace the SD card if formatting does not work.
The dashcam’s GPS location is not shown on the map. The dashcam is mounted in an unsuitable position. Make sure the dashcam is mounted so that it has a direct line of sight to the sky. More information on mounting
Dashcam
The dashcam is not recording. The SD card has not been inserted. 1. Insert the SD card.
2. Restart the dashcam.
The SD card is not recognised. 1. Format the SD card.

The SIM card has not been activated. Please contact SPEDION Support.
The dashcam restarts occasionally. The dashcam requires a software update or has a hardware issue. Please contact SPEDION Support.
When the vehicle is moving, the ‘Vibration’ event is triggered. The power connection between the dashcam and the vehicle is unstable. Check the cables between the dashcam and the vehicle.
The driver does not receive audible or visual warnings in the event of inattentive driving. The ‘Inattentive Driving’ event or the audible warnings are disabled. Enable these functions.
DThe driver position is set incorrectly. In the Dashcam settings, check that the selected driver position matches the side on which the driver is actually sitting.
The driver’s upper body is not within the field of view of the lens facing the driver’s cab. Check the Live view on the dashcam from the camera facing the driver’s cab and make sure that the driver’s upper body is visible.
No events are triggered for dangerous driving. The dashcam is not calibrated correctly. Once the dashcam has been mounted in the correct position and at the correct angle on the windscreen, select Settings > Calibration.
The vehicle icon on the dashcam screen does not turn red when you drive recklessly. The visual warnings are turned off. Enable visual warnings.
The dashcam is not calibrated correctly. Stop the vehicle on a level surface and select Settings > Calibration.
The dashcam won't switch on. The dashcam isn't charged. 1. Fully charge the dashcam using a 2A power source. This may take up to 30 minutes.
2. Restart the dashcam.
An additional camera is connected to a constant power supply, which drains the dashcam’s battery. 1. Fully charge the dashcam. This may take a few hours.
2. Connect the additional camera to the ignition or connect it via Wi-Fi instead of hard-wiring it.
The dashcam is not connecting to the internet. 1. Restart the dashcam. Select Settings > Power off.
2. Reset the dashcam.
The dashcam screen has frozen. Restart the dashcam.
An incorrect starting point is displayed for a route. The dashcam was not switched on or was not connected to SPEDIONline when the route started Check the power connection.
The dashcam hotspot isn't working. The dashcam hotspot isn't switched on. Select Settings > Wi-Fi and enable the hotspot function.
The network connection details have been entered incorrectly. Check that you have entered the network connection details correctly. Please note that the system is case-sensitive.
The dashcam’s network name is “Dash-XXXX” (the numbers are the last four digits of your dashcam’s IMEI number). The default network password is “12345678”.
The driver's PIN has been forgotten. Any administrator can assign a new Driver PIN on the dashcam.
The administrator PIN has been forgotten. Please contact SPEDION Support so that they can reset the PIN to the default PIN.
Additional cameras
The Wi-Fi auxiliary camera is not connecting to the dashcam. Restart the auxiliary camera and check the list of available networks on the dashcam screen for the camera’s SSID to see if the auxiliary camera is online.
The auxiliary cameras do not record any "vibration" events. The auxiliary cameras are only connected once the dashcam exits standby mode.
