Overview and requirements
The Android device can be secured in the vehicle using an active bracket, which also charges the device at the same time. The active bracket is attached to the dashboard using a console, e.g. from KUDA.
Requirements:
- The active bracket must be connected to a continuous power supply.
- We recommend using the SPEDION cable loom for the connection.
The active bracket must be protected by a separate 3A fuse to avoid voiding the warranty!
Use the plug supplied to connect to the SPEDION cable loom; a fuse is fitted there.
Alternatively, you can fit a separate 3A fuse on site if you are unable to tap into the voltage at the SPEDION cable loom.
