Quick start for experienced users
The quick start with the TruckBox E is described here.
The procedure summarised here is intended to support experienced users. If you have any difficulties, you can refer to the full documentation.
Check scope of delivery
- Check whether the following components are included in the scope of delivery:
- TruckBox E
- SPEDION cable loom
- GPS/GSM antenna
- Unpack the individual components and get them ready.
Assign TruckBox E in SPEDIONline
- Check whether the current vehicle has already been created in SPEDIONline.
If not, create a new vehicle. - Check whether the TruckBox E to be installed is assigned to this vehicle.
If not, assign it to the vehicle. - Before installation, compare the serial number on the TruckBox E with that of the assigned TruckBox E.
- Configure the TruckBox E in SPEDIONline.
Install TruckBox E
- Connect the SPEDION cable loom to the FMS.
- Connect the SPEDION cable loom to the digital tachograph.
- Connect the Android device to the power supply.
- Optional: Install the SIM card in the TruckBox E.
- Connect the GPS/GSM antenna to the TruckBox E.
- Connect the TruckBox E to the SPEDION cable loom.
- Fill in the enclosed device accompanying document and send it by e-mail to support@spedion.de.
Send diagnosis
- Check that your Android device is connected to the Internet.
- Check that the TruckBox E is installed and connected.
- Open the Diagnosis in the SPEDION App.
- Wait until the necessary dots turn green.
- Tap on Send Acceptance-Message to SPEDION.
