Digital tachographs

General

The digital tachograph records the driving and rest times, the speed driven and the number of kilometres driven. The recorded data is transmitted and displayed in the SPEDION App. The SPEDION App supports the manufacturers Stoneridge and VDO.

The connectors on the back of the digital tachographs are standardised and identical across all manufacturers.

Is the digital tachograph remote download-capable?

VDO

Digital tachographs from VDO are remote download-capable from version number 1.3A.
You can view the version number of the digital tachograph by removing the paper roll from the internal printer. There is a sticker in this compartment on which the version number is printed.

Read version number:

1. Press the unlocking key.
2. Remove the paper roll from the internal printer.
3. Optional: Remove the digital tachograph. The version number is on the underside.

Stoneridge

Stoneridge digital tachographs are capable of remote download if the digital tachograph has the OK key.
