Under Available devices (1) you will see all the devices that SPEDION has delivered to you.

  1. Use the type and serial number to search for the device to be installed in the vehicle.
  2. Click on Install (2) in the corresponding line.
  3. Configure the vehicle data interface (for further information see following section).
  4. Click on Install.

The devices that have been assigned to the vehicle are displayed under Installed devices (3).
In addition to the self-assigned devices, you can also see the Android device with which the vehicle is registered in the SPEDION App.

Configure vehicle data interface

Settings must be configured

If a SPEDION device has been assigned to the vehicle (="virtual" installation), you must specify the corresponding connection types here.
This is a prerequisite so that the data of the SPEDION device can be transmitted to SPEDION.

Bluetooth Adapter

The vehicle data interface controls the interface at which the SPEDION App picks up the speed signal.

Settings must be selected depending on the connection in the vehicle

The vehicle data interface setting must be selected individually for each vehicle.
You must note which connections are available in the particular vehicle (FMS interface or digital tachograph) or which plug or cable was used to connect the Bluetooth Adapter.

  1. Select the connection variant with which your vehicle supplies data to the Android device and the SPEDION App (see table below for more information).
  2. Select whether a remote download of the data from the tachograph should take place.
