Potential problems and solutions

Data not up to date

Problem:
The data will not be updated in SPEDIONline or in the SPEDION Portal App.

Solution:

  • Low battery: Check the battery charge status in SPEDIONline or in the SPEDION Portal App. If the battery is low, expose the device to direct sunlight and ensure that the solar panel is clean and the ambient temperature is between 0 °C and 45 °C.
  • No reception area: Check the reception strength in this area. If there is no reception, find an area with a better connection.
  • Covered device: Ensure that there are no objects between the device and the sky that could obstruct the view

Swollen battery

Solution:

  1. Remove the device from the vehicle or trailer immediately. Do not tighten the device.
  2. Remove the device from light sources.
  3. Contact SPEDION support.
