Phone book

To be able to use the phone book, you must first activate it in the Data tab.
You can specify which entries are displayed in the phone book of the SPEDION App for selected vehicles.
Phone book entries can be added by manual entry or by CSV import.

Edit entries manually

You have ticked Phone book in the vehicle configuration and saved this.

1. Click on the Phone book tab.
   • Add entry at the bottom of the list: Click on Add entry.
   • Add entry within the list: Click on a + plus icon to add a new entry below the corresponding entry.
   • Delete entry: Click on a - minus icon to remove the corresponding entry.
2. To change the order of the entries, click on the arrows up or down or grab and move the entry using the 6 dots.
   
3. Finally, always click on Save.

The driver must log out and log back in to the SPEDION App in order to see new phone book entries.

Add entries via CSV import

You have ticked Phone book in the vehicle configuration and saved this.

1. Click on the Phone book tab.
2. Download the current address book as a template via CSV Export.
3. Then open the downloaded file as a CSV file. The entries contained in the file serve as a template for how to enter the name and telephone number.
4. Enter the names and telephone numbers.
5. Save the file. Make sure that the file is saved as a CSV file.
6. Click on Select file.
7. Select the CSV file you have created.
8. Click on CSV Import.
9. Finally click on Save.

The driver must log out and log back in to the SPEDION App in order to see new phone book entries.
