Here you can manage websites, create whitelists and blacklists and save them in the respective vehicle configuration. The saved websites can then be opened in the SPEDION App.
You have the option of defining whitelists (permitted subpages) (1) and blacklists (blocked subpages) (2). This allows you to control which parts of a website your driver can use.
To do this, add new input fields with the + Whitelist and + Blacklist buttons (3).
You can add new entries at the bottom of the list using the New definition (4) button.
You can also specify ... (5)
- whether the website is allowed to determine and use the location of the Android device.
- whether the website can be opened in roaming areas.
- whether your driver can access the website while driving.
Example
The following example explains how you can make websites accessible to your drivers and restrict subpages.
We want to make the SPEDION website accessible to drivers. Drivers are allowed to open all subpages on the SPEDION website, except the subpage for the SPEDION Portal App and SPEDION Expenses.
Procedure
You have ticked Websites in the vehicle configuration and saved this.
- Click on the Websites tab.
- Click on New definition (1).
- Enter the name (2) and the start page (3) of the website:
- Name = SPEDION
- Start page = https://www.spedion.de/
- Click on Whitelist (4) to add a new field.
- Enter the domain in the field under Whitelist (5) (enter only one subpage per field):
- Whitelist = spedion.de.
You must always enter a value in the Whitelist input field! If no value is entered, the website cannot be opened in the SPEDION App.
- Click on Blacklist (6) to add a new field.
- In the field under Blacklist (7), enter subpages that may not be accessed (enter only one subpage per field):
- Blacklist = spedion.de/produkte/spedion-portal-app
- Blacklist = spedion.de/produkte/spedion-spesen
- Click on Save.
The driver must log out of the SPEDION App and log back in to see the new website.
