Message recipient

Here you can define the recipients that the driver should be able to select when he wants to send a message in the SPEDION App.

You will find various tabs under Message recipients:

Here you can see all the message recipients that you have defined.

Setting options:

• Default:
  If a tick is set here, this recipient is preselected when a message is created in the SPEDION App.
• Copy to head office:
  If this box is ticked, a copy is sent to the head office. The message can be seen by SPEDIONline users who have access to the Messages module AND have been assigned the corresponding vehicle group in their user settings.

Prerequisite:

You have ticked Message recipient in the vehicle configuration and saved this.

Users

Here you can specify SPEDIONline users as recipients of the message. These recipients will receive the message directly via SPEDIONline or in the SPEDION Portal App.

1. Click on the Users tab.
2. Select the desired user from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on Add.
   The new entry is displayed in the table below.
4. Optional: Tick Default or Copy to head office.
5. Click on Save.

E-mail

Recipients entered here will receive the message as an e-mail.

1 Click on the Email tab.
2. Enter the name and email address of the recipient.
3. Click on Add.
The new entry is displayed in the table below.
4. Optional: Tick Default or Copy to head office.
5. Click on Save.

SMS

Recipients entered here will receive the message as an SMS.

1. Click on the SMS tab.
2. Enter the name and mobile number of the recipient.
3. Click on Add.
   The new entry is displayed in the table below.
4. Optional: Tick Default or Copy to head office.
5. Click on Save.

Vehicles

Vehicles registered here receive the message in the SPEDION App.

1. Click on the Vehicles tab.
2. Select the desired vehicle from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on Add.
   The new entry is displayed in the table below.
4. Optional: Tick Default or Copy to head office.
5. Click on Save.

Groups

Here you can create recipient groups to receive the messages. The driver is shown the name of the recipient group in the SPEDION App.
All recipients stored in this group will receive the message.

Create new recipient group

1. Click on the Groups tab.
2. Enter the desired group name in the Add new group field.
3. Click on Add.
   The new entry is displayed in the table below.
4. To add new recipients to the group, click on the Plus icon to the right of the group name.
   
5. As before, you can also enter users, vehicles, e-mail addresses or mobile phone numbers as recipients here. For example, enter the name and email address of the recipient and click Add to the right of this.
   
6. Enter additional recipients.
7. When you have added all the desired recipients, click Ok.
8. Optional: Tick Default or Copy to head office.
9. Click on Save.
