Login options

Depending on the configuration, one of the following login options is available to you.

Login with barcode scan

If configured as required, the SPEDION App can be equipped with the option of recording the driver number and vehicle number using a barcode scan.

Scan driver and vehicle number

Select the barcode scan symbol (1) next to the driver number field.
Scan the barcode with your driver number.
Select the Barcode scan symbol (2) next to the vehicle number field.
Scan the barcode with your vehicle number.
Select Log in.

Login with language selection

The SPEDION App can be configured with different language variants if required. You can select these language variants when you log in.

Available languages in the SPEDION App

The following languages are fully available for the SPEDION App: German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Slovakian, Spanish, Czech and Hungarian. Further languages are in preparation.

Change language

Select the flag icon on the login screen.
You will be directed to the language setting of the Android device.
Select Language (English).
Move the desired language to the top of the list.
Alternatively: Select Add language and select the desired language. Select Set as default.
Press the Back button on your Android device to return to the SPEDION App login screen.
You will see the flag as a symbol for your selected language. You can log in to the SPEDION App with your selected language.

Driver and vehicle login

If you have any questions about your driver number and your vehicle number, please contact your dispatcher.

Enter the driver number in the upper field.
Enter the vehicle number of the current vehicle in the field below.
Select Log in.

Login with driver card

With the desired configuration and fixed installation, log-on in the SPEDION App can be carried out automatically using the data in the driver card. A distinction is made here between fully automatic and semi-automatic login.

Fully automatic login

There is an active Internet connection.
The driver card is inserted into the correct slot in the tachograph.
The truck ignition is switched on.

Wait until the driver card symbol appears in green.
When the driver card symbol appears in green, you are logged in on your new vehicle and will be redirected to the start screen.

Delay in registration with driver card

There may be delays of up to one minute when logging in with driver cards.

Semi-automatic login

There is an active Internet connection.
The driver card is inserted into the correct slot in the tachograph.
The truck ignition is switched on.

Wait until the driver card symbol appears in green.
Select Log in.

Login for permanent installation

Driver login for permanent installation

If configured accordingly, you only need the driver PIN to log in to the SPEDION App. This is recommended if it is a permanently installed Android device.

There is an active Internet connection.

Enter the driver number in the upper field.
Select Log in.

Change vehicle for permanent installation

To change the registered vehicle on a permanently installed Android device, for example when removing or converting it, proceed as follows:

You are logged out of the SPEDION App.
"Please enter your driver number" (1) is displayed on the right-hand side of the login screen.

Are you shown a different screen or do you not know how to log out?
Further information on logging out

Tap on the menu (three dots) (2).
Tap on Change vehicle (3).

The Security prompt window opens.

Tap on Yes.
Log in:
1. User with SPEDIONline access: Log in to the SPEDION App with your administrator login data.
2. User without SPEDIONline access: A SPEDIONline user of your company must create a temporary user and forward the generated login data to you. You can find this function under Administration → User management → orange main bar: Temporary user
3. Alternatively: Call SPEDION Support to obtain login data.

A new input screen for the vehicle number opens.
5. Enter your desired vehicle number.
6. Tap on Ok.

Safety regulations

After logging in, you will see a window with safety regulations. Please read these carefully:

WARNING

Important information for responsible driving
The user understands that use of the SPEDION App may result in distracted driving.
User agrees:
a) When driving, never to input data when the vehicle is in motion.
b) To read and follow the guidance on responsible driving and navigation practices in the user and/or safety guide.

Confirmation of the safety regulations

Read the safety regulations.
Select Accept.
